Did you know ePrize is behind the scenes of The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra?
The Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra is kicking off an exciting new video search contest for their next guest soloist via YouTube. The top four finalists will get a chance to audition for musical director and conductor Manfred Honeck. The winner (if one is chosen) gets $10,000 and a paid trip to perform at Heinz Hall in the fall.
ePrize was behind the scenes, creating the official rules and lending our extensive promotion law knowledge base to the project. The contest is a first of its kind in symphony circles, but scouting talent via the Internet is a trend among symphonies across the country who have traditionally relied on talent agencies and auditions in cities where the symphony travels.
